Welcome to the Farm!

We are a Traditional Catholic-based Farm inspired by St. Isidore, the patron saint of farmers.

What began with hand-poured beeswax candles for Candlemas has grown into a collection of handmade, all-natural goods - from soaps and lotion bars to balms, scrubs, and gift sets.

We handcraft all of our products in Kountze, Texas, using pure Texas beeswax and natural ingredients. In some of our products, the Chrism used is sourced from Cistercian Monks, and the coffee is roasted by Carmelite Monks.

  • Benefits

Beeswax is a natural moisturizer that helps keep your skin soft and hydrated. It creates a light barrier on the skin that locks in moisture without clogging pores, helping to shield skin from environmental stressor. Rich in vitamin A, beeswax supports healthy skin and helps soothe irritation, while its gentle antibacterial qualities help keep skin calm. It also gives our products their smooth, glide-on feel. A truly all-natural ingredient for soft, healthy, well-nourished skin.

  • Significance

Beeswax holds deep meaning in the Catholic faith — a symbol of purity, light, and divine grace. According to Church tradition, pure beeswax represents the purity of the Virgin Mary, from whom Christ took His human nature. The wick symbolizes Christ's soul, and the living flame signifies His divinity and the light He brings into the world. Because of this rich symbolism, beeswax candles have been used for centuries in the liturgy, in home in prayer, and during the great feasts of the Church. By burning pure beeswax candles, the faithful participate in a tradition that points to Christ's sacrifice, His presence, and His eternal light.

  • Candlemas

February 2nd is the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord, also known as Candlemas. On this day, the Church remembers Mary and Joseph bringing the Infant Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem, following the law of Moses. There, the holy man Simeon recognized Jesus as the long-awaited Savior and proclaimed Him as "a light for revelation to the Gentile." Because of Simeon's words, the Church blesses candles on this feast—reminding us that Christ is the true Light of the World, One who shines in every darkness and guides us in faith.

Candlemas also celebrates the humility and obedience of Mary and Joseph. Even though Jesus is God and Mary is without sin, they still chose to follow God's law. Their quiet faith shows us that holiness is often lived in simple, everyday acts of obedience and trust.

For centuries, Catholic families have brought home blessed candles on Candlemas to use in prayer, during storms, or in moments when Christ's comfort and protection are especially needed.

St. Isidore the Farmer

We chose Saint Isidore as the patron saint of our farm because he beautifully represents the virtues we seek to live out each day—faith, humility, and devotion. A humble farm laborer from Madrid, Isidore lived a life of prayerful work, caring not only for the soil but also for the poor and for animals, with great compassion. Alongside his wife, Saint Maria de la Cabeza, he showed that holiness can be found in the simplicity of rural life and family. As the patron saint of farmers and rural communities, his life is a daily inspiration to us. We honor his feast day on May 15, remembering his quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for God in all things.
